Current Fundraising Campaign
We are currently planning a Gala for November 8, 2014, to raise funds for enhancements at the Three Hills Health Centre. Through this Gala, we are raising funds for the following projects:
A Mobile X-Ray Machine
This machine has the ability to be easily transported to patient rooms and the ER. It will enhance patient care by eliminating the need to transfer trauma patients, or those restricted to their beds, to the X-Ray Department.
Two Air Beds
Currently there are no air beds in Long Term Care. Air beds provide prevention of skin breakdown and enhance client comfort, particularly to those at the end stage of life. One of these two air beds will bring comfort to palliative care patients in Acute Care.
Bariatric Bed
This larger bed will accommodate the needs of bariatric patients at the facility. It will provide increased comfort and safety.
Fundraising Goal: $122,000
In total, we hope to raise $122,000.00, which will allow us to purchase all four of our wish list items.

Past Campaign Success - Portable Ultrasound
This ultrasound machine will enhance medical care provided at the Three Hills Health Centre by increasing the accuracy and the speed of diagnosing a variety of emergency situations: abdominal pain, appendicitis, pregnancy complications, trauma, and urinary emergencies.
Timely diagnosis can be assisted by transmitting the images to Calgary or Red Deer via internet. Bedside ultrasound is becoming standard care in medical facilities around the world.
