This fall, the Three Hills Health Initiative reached out to community members to help the Three Hills Health Centre stay current with the latest advances in medical care through the purchase of a portable x-ray machine. The portable x-ray machine is a vital piece of equipment for special needs patients including trauma, long term care, palliative care, and acutely sick. These patients cannot be moved from their room easily or comfortably; a mobile x-ray machine allows health care staff to bring the x-ray equipment to the patient room instead of moving the patient. The portable x-ray machine will greatly enhance patient care at Three Hills Health Centre.
Sponsors, donors, and gala attendees demonstrated their commitment to our community and to enhancing health care through their generous contributions to the November 8th Evening in Paris fundraising gala. The Three Hills Health Initiative and the Three Hills Health Centre extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the gala, and helped us to surpass our $52,000 fundraising goal. Approximately $75,000 was raised through the event this November; we look forward to updating you soon when the x-ray machine arrives on-site!
